Tell me about it
In school holidays, daytime football coaching and fun sport activities are held at Wolverhampton Grammar School . Children are looked after in a safe, caring, organised and friendly environment and are coached by staff used to working with young pupils in schools. The recommended ratio of players to coaches is not exceeded and children are coached at a suitable pace within their own age bands. Strict rules of behaviour apply and children have fun, enjoy healthy exercise and meet new friends. Toilet, drink and shade breaks take place as necessary.
Birmingham FA Gold Standard Accreditation was received in July 2016.
There are high quality facilities available at Wolverhampton Grammar School.
Who is it for?
Girls and boys of all abilities, from four to fourteen years of age.
What happens at lunch-time?
For our full day courses, at around mid-day there is a one-hour lunch break. Children are seated within their own groups and are closely supervised by their coaches.
Children bring a packed lunch (if required) and drinks.
At Wolverhampton Grammar School hot lunches are an option and these are paid for each morning on arrival. Options change daily e.g. jacket potato, beef burger, pasta bake, fish fingers, pizza, beef stew, chicken in black bean sauce.
How to book a Holiday Course?
It is always best to book in advance to guarantee a place on any of the courses. The recommended ratio of players to coaches will not be exceeded and we do not like to disappoint customers who sometimes ask to book on the first day of a course.
